- Applicants are advised to be careful in selecting the medical and dental colleges of their choice. Applicants will be offered admission to MBBS/BDS in respective Medical/Dental Colleges on merit only.

NUMS Eligibility Criteria for Private Medical Colleges Admission 2023
- According to the PMC Medical and Dental Undergraduate Education (Admission, Curriculum, and Conduct) Regulations 2023-23, admission to a private college, among Pakistani, overseas Pakistani, or foreign students is based on merit and criteria. No difference will be made. This means that there is no special quota for foreign students in private colleges and the foreign candidate has to compete on merit like a local candidate.
- All Pakistanis with valid citizenship (including citizens of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan) can apply for admission on open merit seats in all the above-mentioned colleges.
- Minimum 60% aggregate marks in FSc (Pre-Medical) or its equivalent with a minimum of twelve years of education.
- Passing MDCAT for NUMS with minimum 55% marks for admission to MBBS program and 45% marks for BDS program.
